An officer of Pakistan Customs Service (29th CTP), having an MBA from LUMS and vast professional experience related to Appraisement, Enforcement, Border management, Drugs and Precursors controls, Customs Processes Re-engineering, Automation and Tariff regulations. Served as Senior National Research Consultant with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for three year (2013-16) and remained a member of World Bank Group’s Task Force on ‘Risk Management’, ‘Customs Process Mapping’ and ‘Ease of Doing Business’ during 2017-18 under Technical Assistance (TA) Programme. Have been part of Pakistan’s delegation in FATF discussions with Asia Pacific Group (APG) during 2019-20. Two of my research reports, Gap analysis and Need assessment of Pakistan Customs (2014) and Drugs and Precursor control in Pakistan (2018) have been presented in Annual sessions of United Nation’s Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND). My core strengths include community service, team building, change management and research based report writing. My favourite hobbies are photography, tourism, cycling and reading.
